Steam-trap accessory check valve

This check valve limits reverse flow in the steam-trap circuit. It is described for a trap installed above the drained equipment, sudden steam-supply pressure drops, or back pressure in the condensate return. Construction is stainless steel with 1/2- or 3/4-inch NPT connections. It may be fitted inside the trap, on a stabilizing tube, or externally for the specified trap series. Steam-trap accessory check valveFunction: Reverse-flow limitation · Material: Stainless steel · Connection: 1/2 or 3/4 in NPT · External mounting: Series 1800 / 2000This check valve limits reverse flow in the steam-trap circuit. Automatic steam-trap freeze-protection drainFunction: Automatic drainage after steam shutdown · Material: Stainless steel · Maximum pressure: 41 bar · Maximum temperature: 177 °C · Connection: 1/2 in NPTThe automatic drain releases retained liquid from a steam trap after steam shutdown to reduce freezing risk. Its duty is distinct from a check valve or vacuum breaker. The section shows a spring and drain member within a small threaded body. The listed construction is stainless steel, with maximum allowable pressure of 41 bar, maximum temperature of 177 °C and a 1/2-inch NPT connection. Match the installation and drainage route to the trap arrangement and shutdown conditions.
Steam-system and heating-coil vacuum breakerFunction: Vacuum breaking by air admission · Material: Stainless steel · Maximum pressure: 10 bar · Maximum temperature: 180 °C · Connection: 3/8 or 1/2 in NPTThe vacuum breaker admits air to release vacuum in a heating coil or steam circuit. It is described for modulating heating-coil service and for helping protect against freezing and water hammer. Its mechanism is distinct from an automatic condensate drain. Listed construction is stainless steel, with maximum allowable pressure of 10 bar, maximum temperature of 180 °C and 3/8- or 1/2-inch NPT connections. Install it where air can enter the section subject to vacuum.
