Electric valve operator

An electric operator drives the mechanism of an industrial valve. The shown assembly mounts the motor and motion-transmission unit above the valve stem, providing powered operation in place of direct handwheel operation. Required torque, travel or number of turns, electrical supply, environmental protection and control signals must match the valve and installation. These are selection requirements, not fixed ratings shared by every operator.
