This double-offset butterfly valve combines a profiled disc, extended neck and compact body. The offset disc motion and controlled deformation of the PTFE seal provide bidirectional shut-off while reducing rubbing during opening and closing. Carbon-steel and stainless-steel bodies are described in wafer and lug configurations. The line seal can be replaced without dismantling the disc, while external packing uses an O-ring with graphite backup. The listed size ranges are 3–36 inches for Class 150 and 3–24 inches for Class 300.
